Mountain Climb was created last century as a follow up to Blisters Dice game. It was designed specifically for the manufacturing capabilities of Channel Craft of Pennsylvania. The game was a beautifully crafted wood game with an old fashion look and feel.
A simple, dice driven vertical contest, game play is fast and fun. Players will find they can be knocked off the board at any time by their opponent. The first climber to occupy all five spots at the summit is the winner. You can view the Mountain Climb game rules HERE.
The game includes the vertical game board, 5 red pitons, 5 blue pitons and a set of standard dice.
Channel Craft manufactured a few different versions of Mountain Climb. They even made “store brand” versions for L.L. Bean and Bass Pro Shops. A small tin box edition was offered but I felt the pieces were too small.
